- Hi,
I am a 24 year old girl who has been recently diagnosed with Alopecia Areata. In the space of 2 weeks my hair loss has been very rapid. I have lost almost all of my hair on the top of my head and sides. This has been such a tough experience to come with terms with since i had lovely long brown hair the whole way down my back. I have yet to find out why i have developed alopecia but I have had several tests done in my local doctors. I am awaiting results on my hormone and iron level this week.
As my hairloss has been so rapid and quick I have purchased a lovely human hair wig to help me deal with going out in public without people staring at me :( ..
