im just going through a major rough patch and was wondering if anyone had any good vibes to send me.... my boyfriend just betrayed my trust, i kicked him out, moved into a 1-bedroom and am trying to start fresh.... i was completely bald for the last 2 years, but recently (past 6 months) i have started regrowth and have a lot of dark patches everywhere (of couse, i still do not have a hairline, who knew someone could want a hairline so bad?) i look crazy, i feel..... i just got used to being…See More

Hello all.... i must tell you all first that I am feeling much better, that bit of depression has past, and I am so thankful :)
Yesterday was a very special day for me and for all my friends with Alopecia!!! I went up to LA to meet Carl Carlyle, playwright, writer of "Bald: The Hairless Musical" He needed actors for his promotional video to show the investors, you know, the people who pay to put the play on, and I was lucky enough to be able to partake.... I feel like crap lately

what happened to me? for the most part of this year i have been so strong....... im losing it...... i feel ugly and icky constantly, i feel depressed and i am sick of feeling different.... my eyelashes are gone now... i have some regrowth but dont know if it will fill in, cause of course we all know that doctors dont know a damn thing with this stinkin disease.... so im losing my hair at the same time it is growing.......

- I went out with some friends of my son just this weekend and when they saw my sleek bald shiny head..that were blown away!
They said it looks striking!
I was totally bald in the 80s' and it grew back in spars and fluffy on top.
My son has told me to shave it off for years now.I only wish I hadn't of waisted so many of my young years with a spars hairless looking head...that made me look frumpy.This has much more appeal being sleek and fresh looking.
I'm sadened by my hair loss...yet more sadened that I waitied so long to be free again.
