- 28 year old mother to 3 year old Jayla who has Alopecia Totalis. She was diagnosed at about age 1 1/2. We live in the middle of Kansas in a very rural community. It was hard for me to accept at first but relized I needed to toughen up and be that strong woman that my daughter is going to need in her life. I would love to meet other families dealing with this - both on here and in person.
