- Hi, I'm Kate! I am 25 year old newlywed in the midst of planning the actual wedding, crazy stuff! I moved to Kentucky almost a year ago to be with my boyfriend and now we are married! I started losing my hair shortly after I moved here. Everyone was saying it was just stress or this and that. I had tests ran and such but my final conclusion is that I have alopecia areata. I just buzzed my head two weeks ago. I am handling it pretty well and its nice to know there is a community out there that supports me and understands what I am going through.
