- Well, I really don't know what to say. I wish I had lots of interesting things to share, but I'm just your average 38 year old, single working woman:) I love to read, watch movies, spend time with friends, try out new local places and of course every girls favorite; shop! :) I was diagnosed with lichen planopilaris in November of 2007. My immune system is attacking my scalp, causing it to scar. When the scarring occurs it forces the hair out. Unfortunately, with this condition, once the hair is gone, it can never come back:( That's why I'm here. Just looking for others who have/are losing their hair that I can relate to.
