- Hi My name is Julianna ive had Alopecia since i was 2 and a half years old. From that time to kindergarten i wore a hat then my mom got me a wig tht i wore until 4th grade where i decieded i didnt lik wigs with taking them off and putting them on, so i wore bandanas. Until the middle of 7th grade i thought maybe i should wear wigs again so i got a new wig and wore it until the middle of 8th grade.

I told my whole school yesterday on the announcements and i took my wig off! :O Im super happy i didnt get any mean comments. So many people left extremely long messeges to me on facebook! Im really surprised.
Should I keep wearing wigs or should I wear nothing on my head?

Hello, Ive been thinking about this for awhile. I wear a wig everywhere so only a couple people know that i hav Alopecia, and i want to wear nothing on my head because its super comfortable compared to wigs. Im starting High school next year and i don't know what i should do. Im a little scared of what people might do and say because i just moved to this area.
