Ahhhhh New England States; where the fall foliage makes the winter so worth while! You bet I will. How long have you lived in New Hampshire and what is it like (economy, taxes, seasons)? Where in New Hampshire do you live?
He is a beauty, indeed! I can imagine that the winters are very cold in Mn. How long do they last? My mother-in-law lives near Hersey, Pa. I've been there and it is sure a beautiful place. How often do you get to see your family? What brought…
My name is Julia and I use to have a head of hair that would've made Diana Ross jealous! I was diagnosed with androgenic alopecia over a year ago. When I was first diagnosed the assumption was that my hair loss was secondary to a hormonal imbalance. I was hopeful that I would respond well to treatment and that my hair loss would be reversed. Since then, despite an androgen level that is now within normal limits, and a regimen of spironolactone, finasteride, Rogaine, and HRT; my hair continues to thin and fall out. Initially, I struggled with the psychological impact of being a woman who faced overall thinning and gradual hair loss. I cried over the frustration of having to reinvent hair styles and styling techniques in order to hide my balding. When this gave way to wearing hats and bandannas most of the time (In California summer heat!) I decided that I was through with mourning the loss of my hair. I immediately decided to take control of the situation, bought a fancy set of clippers, and had my husband buzz it all away! Since then I have empowered myself by educating those around me about the different types of alopecia that both women and men experience.

Hi Julia,
I was born here - in Keene - in the Southwest corner of the state near Vermont. It is peaceful, beautiful, quite rural. We have no sales or income tax. Winter is snowy and cold, Spring comes late but we have maple sugaring season instead. Summer is perfect and fall is gorgeous.
You are 3 1/2 hours from Montreal, 2 hours from Boston. Keene has lots of great restaurants, Mt. Monadnock to climb, lakes to swim in, clean air and water. The White Mountains are 2 hours away and I'm very happy I live here.
Hey
I cant get into the dr. until thur so no new info yet. And yes Im very serious about our Doctors well really all our Health Care Workers see here they get paid by the government and in the States they get paid from You the people, or the insurance company's and who paids that you. We have a serious stortage of Drotors. When I moved here (BC) in june I had to lie, and say I thought I was prego just to get a foot in the door at a doctor. Here in Prince George NO doctors have been taking new patients for over 4 years ( and with my new hair loss I needed help ) Thats the only bad thing about living in Canada. But what can you do ah? anyways Ive got to run and make dinner for my little fam Yumm stir-fry Have a great day Julia
Ashlie

Hello! Thanks about the nice comment about the dog!! Thats my husband's fav. breed too and his name is Niko but he is no ours but someday we would love to get one. I love MN soo much but the winters are sooo cold but summer time is the best but I am from PA all my family is there so I miss them alot at times. Tell me a little bit about yourself?
Hi Julia! Glad your well and your studies are going well too. Sorry to hear that your feelin a bit disappointed about your hair. Mine came in thin to start with the last time and then thickened over time (i updated my profile - this might make sense then), maybe that's what yours is gonna do too! Yeh I agree with you and your hubby, keep shaving it. Thats what I done, it stops you havin that worry about "does this look silly?", " how can I hide this bit?". I think it can kinda take you back to how you felt when your hair first starts fallin out and make you feel like hiding again if you leave it how it is - well thats how I felt. The kids are doing great, gettin bigger by the day and cheekier lol!!!!! Let me know what you end up dong and remember i'm here if you need me!!!! Take care!!! K x x x x
