- About Me:
- My name is Johnny and I was diagnosed with Alopecia when I was 11 years old. Admittedly, it was a very traumatic experience, but I'm happy with the person I became because of it, I truly believe it made me a better person. I have not met many people in my life who also have Alopecia, maybe about 10 or so. This has made me feel very alone in the world in regard to living with Alopecia. I've done many things in my life and had many adventures, from being a punk rock musician in Texas to a truck driver on the gas fields of Wyoming.I'm a university student now, I have earned a degree in broadcasting and am now pursuing a degree in political science. Living with Alopecia forced me to let go of my fear, I know I would not have had the courage to live the life I have lived without it. One thing that is kind of funny is that I have never really bothered to learn much about Alopecia. I never really cared why, it just is and it is me.
