Nikki said… - Thanks for the welcome Jennifer. I didn't realize how many alopecians there are in BC. This is really a great site. A little about myself: i have two kids a boy 8 and a girl 6. Because my mom has alopecia I worry about my kids getting it to. But so far so good. Infact my daughter has a ton of long blond hair. I hope it stays. One day she asked me when her hair will come off. It was very sweet - she just thought that was normal. I have been married for 18 years in Oct. My husband is so supportive and loves that I don;t spend a ton of time in the bathroom getting ready (me too!). Hope to chat more in the future with you. Have a great day!! Nikki

It,s been about a year for me to too, since the hair started falling out and now it is all gone. I am going to get some eyebrows made or perhaps tattoo some on in the next week or so. What a weird year!
i think its good to get extra support, Alopecia world is great but I would like to meet someone face to face and chat about it. If you ever want to talk, I'm here (sometimes I don't check in for a while). Please do let me know about the meeting, I think it would be really interesting to go.
