About Me:
I have alopecia since age 13. It began as areata and developed to universalis three years ago. It was hard, but I was lucky because I have my family and close friends who help me a lot.

In certain situations, having alopecia affects me (especially in Brazil, where people usually mocks those who wear wigs), but then I think that it is not a serious problem and others' opinions should be irrelevant.

Is cliche, but the important thing is who I am.

Hey guys, I would like to know if there is any problem doing tattoos if you have alopecia, due to the fact that it is an autoimmune disease.

Insecurity

Now in the middle of the year I'll move from town to start college to study psychology. I must admit I'm insecure about the new people I'll meet and their comments, mainly because of being away from the comfort of family and friends.
But I think it will be a good experience for my personal growth. I hope everything goes well.

Yes, I have full lace and highly recommend it. But I don't wear it every day, because they are expensive and need to be styled frequently which is also costly. I wear synthetic when I travel or work out at the gym because synthetic is wash and wear. The best one I've found is Rene of Paris "Brandi." You can get it on www.wigsalon.com at a discount.

I have no lashes and I wear false ones when I am going to a party or out on a date. Otherwise it's too much of a hassle. In my book (If Your Hair Falls Out, Keep Dancing!) I give really detailed instructions on how to put on eyelashes, the best glue, and also how to put on makeup so it looks like you're wearing eyelashes.
