"Hi Pauliegirl. thank you for your reply. I had mentioned accutane to my consultant and she thought it would be difficult to stay on this as the side effects can be nasty. I will have another look though. Thanks for the suggestion and I am glad it is…"

Honestly, the way ffa affected and still does affect me, a small price to pay in comparison to stopping the progression of the hair loss! Call me any time:) 630-399-5576. Jamie

Fi, I am concerned about the suggestion of methotrexate. That is a very serious drug! I don’t often reply on this wall but I feel compelled today! I have tried so many things over the past four years so I cannot say 100% for sure what has helped me, but here is what I believe has made somehow the largest impact that has at least halted the hair loss for at least 16 months now: Accutane 20mg, the generic version. Please see the study from Poland... after all my research this drug seems to be the most effective of all of them. In addition to that I believe it is vital to dramatically improve one’s nutrition. I have been gluten-free for two years now. Over this past two years I started an auto immune protocol diet and then transitioned last year at this time to fully vegan and a hyper nourishment protocol as per Dr. Brooke Goldner. I have detoxified things in the areas of what I put in and on my body. I don’t use make up with chemicals anymore and I use a pretty safe shampoo/conditioner. I only use essential oil mixed in distilled water for all of my housecleaning. The food that I eat is as much organic as possible. I started seeing a functional medicine doctor two years ago and he started me on the path to heal a leaky gut and it included a lot of supplements and is is quite expensive but I think it is a large part of the puzzle. Lots of water to drink! I’ve had probably three glasses of alcohol over the past year! If this is a lot of information and I could go on but will stop here as I think these are the highlights! Oh, one more thing, and actually this is huge— Plenty of sleep and stress management which might include yoga, meditation, figuring out who to spend your time with and doing what! They say that you can have all of the right foods and drink etc. but if you don’t have your stress managed it’s not gonna work! I wish you all of the very best!
