- My name is Chelsea and lets see where do I start. I have had AU since I was 12 and at first I have to say that I hated having it. I went through so much so many treatments that in the end of it all I just wanted to give up on it. Over the years I learned to deal with it better and then in 2009 I went to my first NAAF conference and that opened my eyes to what was beyond my alopecia. I am so happy that I met other people who have alopecia and it makes me feel like I am not alone. I love who I am and what I have learned about myself. I have an amazing husband who loves me for me and doesnt care if I have hair or not. He stands by my side through the good and the bad and helps me see the light at the end of the tunnel. We live in Ga and have two beautiful pups. I am a military wife and I am so proud of my sailor. I hope that I meet new people here and stay friends with the ones that I have met.

I can not wait to meet everyone! I am so excited to learn some new things and go to the events! haha I had to share that... Only a few more days!!!!!!!
Has any one's insurance company helped paid for wigs???????

I am trying to get info about insurance companies and to see if they have helped pay for wigs. Has any one had any luck with it?

- I most likely will go to the conference in LA since that is where I am from and I have a lot of family there so I would be able to go back and visit with them as well as see all my fellow alopecians lol. Need to see if I can get off work that weekend and I will be good. Glad to hear from you and congrats on the marriage!

We really should try to pull something off one day. I'd love to meet someone in my shoes for once. Is your hubs stationed up there? (If that's what they call it?)
