Hi Carolyn..thanks for the daisies! My hair length is just passed my ears and still have bald spots and I don't really care. :) Some thinning on top but no def bald spots up there and no one ever asks/comments ever on how I looked 2 years ago…

- I am a 50 yr old female and I have lost my hair over the past 3 months and have hardly any left, just a few strands to see thats all.I am very upset over this and am getting more frustrated with it as time goes by, I bought a wig and am now wearing it when I go out and around as much as I can, it helps me get through sometimes, until reality sets in again when I remove the wig.Especially now that the summer is here, I find that I can't go swimming or to the parks in the heat, outside if its too hot with the wig on, its an acrylic wig, they told me it wouldn't fade in the sun but i'm noticing spots fading and plus they didn't tell me anything about the heat damaging it.The heat seems to shirvel it.I paid 400 dollars for it, so it wasn't cheap to me. Oh, its so frustrating, love to hear from other people with alopecia and if and how long it took for their hair to grow back.I was signed up here before but it seems I can't get in , its telling me that there's no account with my email address so am signing up again, Thanks.Hope to hear from someone soon.Take care all.

I plan to grow it so I can sport a solitary braid down my back oneday. I don't come around here (AW)often as the population here has exploded and you are one of the only folks who ever say HI . Do you ever use the chat feature here? When I visit chat there's tonz of folks I don't really know so that's a lost cause too, lol.
Hope your Mum's Day was special in some way...holler again...you look great!
