Bluesfest Backstage Diary #1
Last night was amazing.I always have fun volunteering at the Ottawa Blues Festival that's held every year for a week and a half in July. This is my 3rd year as backstage hospitality, and I have to say it is the most interesting job that there is! Basically, I have to set up and take down dressing rooms, prep food trays, and, sometimes make fresh lemonade from scratch among many other special requests that I get! Hi Cara, Wow your job sounds exciting. Right now Amanda is taking it easy. In August she will take swimming classes and then she will be going to cheer camp she will perform at our local high schools homecoming game this fall. :)

- I was diagnosed with alopecia when I was 14. I'm an active, involved media/ p.r. student; and I spendd a great deal of time in the 'public eye' of various communities to which I belong. I love rugby, played competitive soccer for 10 years, dance (hip-hop, Afro-Caribbean, jazz.. and I want to learn theatre!), and plan events for my old high school colleagues. I also have a passion for music, cooking and nature and people photography (SLR baby).
