About Me:
I am a 35 year old mother of two and over the past year I started to notice many changes in my health. The biggest wake up call was losing half of my left eyebrow and finding a large bald spot on the back of my head. Within a couple of weeks a colleague found 8 more small bald patches on my head. I do not go to medical doctors if I can help it, so I sought alternative therapies and I am delighted to share that ALL of my hair is growing back including my eyebrows. There are two things I can thank for this. One, is the product called "Calosol" from the UK. It's amazing. The other was finding the Functional Medicine doctor that I see. He is a chiropractor who is also a board certified internist. He did extensive blood work on me and found that not only do I also have Hashimoto's, but I also had active Epstein-barr virus. I've been on lots of supplements and herbs since January, in addition to using the Calosol and like I said, all of my hair is growing back, and I feel like a new person. If you are interested in seeing this doctor, he is located in Asheville, NC but also can treat clients from a distance. He has clients as far away as Australia. His name is Dr. Nikolas Hedberg and I am ever so grateful that I heard about him. AA is not his specialty, but it doesn't need to be. He searches for the core of the issue, something that modern medicine doesn't do. He answers the question, why? I only know one other person who has alopecia and I was certain to let him know about Dr. Hedberg and Calosol. I have pictures. Hello!

This video was created by the Functional Medicine doctor that I have been seeing for the last two years. When I first went to him I had a bald spot the size of a grapefruit on the back of my head, 8 other quarter size spots, only 1/2 of my left eyebrow and no eyelashes on my left eye. Within a few months ALL of my hair was growing back. I've had a couple of small spots since then, but the hair grows back quickly. I still see him, but now only once every 6 months. I had active…

Hi Bridget,
I read your comments on "Doctors dont help" forum, and was quite interested in what you had to say. I think ive been quite complacement in not pursuing answers into why this happened to me. You have encouraged me to actually investigate and get thorough blood works done... I never went down the path of medication, purely for the fact that my body cannot handle most meds. I was told anyways, nothing you can do. It may grow back.. it may not. So i just went through the roller coaster of emotions dealing with it. I decided there is nothing i can do about the hair, so i will just try live a healthy life. Starting to exercise more and eat really healthy. I didnt try creams, injections, medications, shampoos..anything. Well after losing ALL my hair in a very short time period, about 5 months later, now, i am getting regrowth. Which everybody else seems to be pleased about, except me of course. You know.. the whole dealing with this traumatic thing is hard.... anyways, im scared to enjoy this regrowth (mind you, its a snow white color all over now!), as i know at any given time it can fall out again. I did go through a lot of blood tests at the start, and i was diagnosed also with another immune disease, lupus, but nothing was ever done or followed up on it.. so you have got me thinking Bridgit. Yes there has to be a reason, why all of a sudden, all my hair fell out. Yes once you have immune diseases, you are more likely to get more... thank you for sharing your story, as it has resonated with myself.
Cheers, Snowflake :-)
