- Hi Brandy. Thanks so much for reaching out to me. I pray everyday to accept and embrace this journey that God has me on. I know there are more important things in life than my hair, but I still have my gloomy moments. Right now I am wearing a very short hair, but the thin areas are close to bald. If I lose all the hair, I might try and be bold and wear a bald. It just depends on how my scalp looks. With scarring alopecia, the scalp looks funny. It's look kinda plastic and shiny. I will definitely keep in touch and post some photos.

- Hi Brandy,
I just wanted to check in and see how Jazmin was doing. Amanda started school today. She wasn't teased but just got asked alot of questions by her classmates. She wore a headband to cover up most of it. I told her teacher about her condition and thankfully she knew what alopecia was. I am just worried that Amanda is keeping all her feelings inside. She wont discuss her alopecia with me or anyone else. I wont push her at this point. I just wish there was a cure for this. I will talk to you soon.
