- Hey! I live in sunny Singapore and I have alopecia areata since november 2010. Today (Oct 2011), I'm still currently undergoing DCP treatment and my regrowth started out as white fuzz but now it has darkened and pactches are growing everywhere! I couldn't have gone through all these without God and the love given by my family and friends. I LOVE THEM ALL (:

Hey everyone!
So I've met up with my dermatologist last wednesday to review on my progress.
I've been doing DCP treatment for a month now, using the lowest dosage of DCP solution (0.0001)
So I told the doc about my unpigmented fuzz on my scalp, and he told me that its still to early to tell. He told me it will be good if they continue to growing longer, denser and thicker into real hair.
Then he reminded me that I still have to be prepared that I may not have regrowth / have… Continue

I recommend pantene conditioner. If you just wash your hair over with some pantene conditioner (no shampoo) it comes out so smooth. its my life saver. LOL.

I use a big wide tooth comb because it doesn't pull the hair out as much as a regular one does. I don't ever wear my main wig to go swimming. most of the time I wear an old wig with a swimming cap. I rlly wouldn't need to wear a wig under the swimming cap at all but I guess that's just for my own insecurities. lol. I choose a color "2" when I buy which is a dark brown. & yeah. I like the hair quality of partner just not the cut. if you get partner, you will def. have to sit it on a head because the wig sometimes gets disheveled because of packaging. when you first get it it may be a tiny bit too shiny but after a few days wearing it, mine is perfect for me. and as I said before, I wouldn't wear it straight out of the package. I always take it to my stylist to get it cut and shaped.
& I replace my partner wig every 4-6 months.

Also I remember wearing my first wig and being all uncomfortable/nervous to now totally knowing how I want to look in them and not being scared of them at all. Love them and beginning to love my false eyelashes too..

and that wig looks beautiful. I've seen it before on the site. but that's the thing, I really cant tell you if it's of good quality because I only order the partner wig. so I guess you gotta take a chance! lol. let me know how it turns out (:

thank you. I don't use any sort of adhesives with my wig. I just put the adjustments attached to the wig on the tightest setting and it fits snug. and yes the hair texture is pretty soft. esp. after a few days of wearing it. I only recommend the partner wig because thats the one I get (based on hair quality) and make sure you have a fabulous hair stylist to cut it to fit your face. i wouldn't wear the wig straight out of the bag. I must say that it looks the way it does because my hair stylist cuts it to frame my face so just keep that in mind. haha.
