I think there is a problem with my freedom wig.
I just recieved my wig last saturday, but up until now i haven't been able to get it to suction properly and just when i think i have it, the seal breaks if i chew something or raise my forehead almost any movement of my head. When i had it styled the lady almost pulled it off when she was blow drying it. I noticed it doesn't suction if it's wet in the cap that i can understand, but even when it's dried out underneath u can break the seal by lightly pulling the hair around the edge upwards. - I have had varying forms of alopecia over the past 10 years and the last 5 i have been almost completely hairless.... Wow i only just realized that it has been a really long time since this all started, you'd think I'd be used to it by now,in all honesty I don't remember what hair feels like but I still wish I had it bad hair days and all. I am the only one in my in my family to have AU or in fact any form of alopecia. I have never met anyone else with AU but I'm guessing it's because I'm always hiding away or hiding it a way.

- Hi Aimee. Thanks for getting back to me. AA is a new thing for me. i was only diagnosed 2 months ago. For me: i found it easy to deal and make peace with. I shave my head once a day and don't cover up my head. But now its almost winter and I'm finding out my head is freezing. I tried to find a support group but had no luck and was so happy to find others in South-Africa. Please keep in touch and if you need someone to talk to my e-mail address is machellouw@yahoo.com i'm busy to get some girls on my web and to do a alopecia lunch soon.
