For the last 24 years, the National Alopecia Areata Foundation has put on a four day conference that has changed the lives of the thousands of attendees. The conferences are for people of all ages who have alopecia areata or care about someone who has alopecia areata. It provides the attendee with the information that they need, including the latest medical and research updates, to better understand and manage alopecia areata. It also provides attendees with a wealth of support.

I want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because you get to be with family and friends and eat good food, drink and be merry. It is great to just give to each other you time and your self. No stress of shopping for gifts to exchange like the next holiday approaching! I hope everyone can find something in their life to give thanks for. Thanksgiving is such a great holiday!

- I am a 5 year breast cancer survivor who lost all my hair due to chemo. Tired of hot wigs and unflattering hats and scarves I designed a fashionable, functional head scarf that has a built in headband that is adjustable with snaps, you get 4 looks from 1 scarf with no tying needed.
