I had AU few years back. Occasionally, it falls and grows back. Sometimes, i went for the steroids shots, sometimes I don't. The shots are horrible and gave terrible side effects such as pimples, irregular periods and putting on weight. Recently, I found my hair dropping excessively again. I am confused if i should take the shots again or just leave it. If I were to do nothing, will my hair grows back again like it did before? Have any of you been experiencing the same thing?

I had AU few years back. Occasionally, it falls and grows back. Sometimes, i went for the steroids shots, sometimes I don't. The shots are horrible and gave terrible side effects such as pimples, irregular periods and putting on weight. Recently, I found my hair dropping excessively again. The four seasons

My hair resembles the four seasons i.e. Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. It falls and grows back in a cycle. It swings with my mood. I am happy when it grows back and depress when it falls. After AU, i never thought of dating anymore. To me, my life is all about career, family and friends. But you never know what's going to happen in future... Recently, I went for vacation in Laos. I joined a tour to go kayaking and tubing at the Nam Song River. That's where i met this tough, good looking, special tour guide. We had a lot of fun together throughout the journey. Life is short so we have to make the best out of it. I never realise I had so many supportive friends and family around before AU. I really appreciate it and thanks God for that. He may take away my precious hair but He gave me something special in return that no amount of money can buy.

Before alopecia invaded my life, I was a happy young lady. I excelled in my studies, had a bunch of nice, caring friends, loving family and did pretty well in my career. At that time, I always think that god is so kind to me, He grants most of my wishes and it makes me feels like a WINNER.

Thats so nice of you to say,and that made my day..As far as a treatment for your hair,Im not a doctor,so I think thats a personal decision we all have to make,but personally,I dont,and never have had any treatments or shots or steriods..I just dont believe in them..Ive done just fine without so far,so I think I'll stay that way..The best medicine I know of,is to put it out of your mind,and dont catch yourself thinking of it,or looking in the mirror with another mirror to see the back..Just screw it,and be yourself..I bet it will start growing back in,just about the time your used to it..LOl..better late than never..It starts with little white hairs growing in..Boy,would I like to see that again..But,I think you must be georgeous,with hair or not..Just one mans opinion,but its true so?..You'll be ok..My heart tells me so...Your quite exotic looking...Anyway,Im glad were friends..If you ever go on holiday out here,holla...Id love to meet you..You seem like a strong individual..Good for you..Bob :: ))
