About Me:
Diagnosed in 2012 with frontal fibrosing alopecia. In 2007 my Mom passed after 8 month illness and in 2011 my husband passed after a 3.5 year illness. Both had cancer and I was the primary caregiver for my husband secondary caregiver for Mom. I noticed thinning hairline in 12/2010 but did not pay much attention since I was busy with my husband. Two months after my husband's death, I noticed my first bald spot on the hairline. I went to the derm who did the injections and I developed more bald spots around the temple to the ears. I am frustrated with that and have decided to stop the treatment since I do not want to lose more. I know that nothing will stop the hair from falling and so I am concentrating on getting hairpieces for the bald areas. If anyone has been successful with this please let me know.

Hi Jen, I was wondering if you have gotten around to finding a hair piece that fits your needs.  I'm still taping mine in.  I now need 2 instead of 1 above my forehead :(  But they still work well for me.

Yep, still gradually losing hair.  I really don't pay attention, until I need to use more Covier camouflage, and then needed to add another smaller piece.  It's slow, thankfully, but I feel the need to be prepared for the next step.  I'm glad your curly hair is still doing its job.  We know where our original hairline was.  Others don't and if it's not too far along, they just think we are normal.
