I have had alopecia for over 22 years and have been to 20 alopecia conference and still when we started the site I was awed by how many people have alopecia. It was very encouraging to see all the different coping techniques that people have shared. Picked the ones that work for you best, continue to love yourself and grow and one day you will see that alopecia will become secondary in your life.
Hoofpick believe me when I tell you. The process of losing hair is devastating than being BALD. When it is all gone you stop worrying about trying to hang onto the little strings. I am 47. Know that your beauty lies within your confidence and knowing as well as accepting yourself. I wish I was there to meet you. We would be two bald women walking down the street and having a great time.
