About Me:

I´am Tomy, I have 22 years, but already is 3 years old that my hair began to fall throughout the body, I have alopecia universalis. At first I stayed with my self-esteem very low, because of prejudice and bullying that we suffer in today's society, I still have difficulties to live with my baldness, but now I'm much more used to. What bothers me is not the fact of my hair had fallen, what bothers me is the bad conscience of the people that do not understand our situations, and I know who alone I can not change that, but here we unite and become stronger :)

  I have had hair loss off & on for many years but never thought it was alopecia because it always grew back. About a year ago my hair really started coming out in huge patches. My husband buzzed it short and then it all came out. It was AT then turned into AU. I have only just accepted it probably won't come back. I won't go out without a wig due to the rude comments I get.
