Pretty devastated and looking for some hope... my flat, pointy head
Hi all,
I just got my Freedom vacuum hair today. It's perfect. I mean PERFECT. The color is perfect, the density is perfect. There's just one problem. It doesn't fit my head. It feels huge and there's no vacuum at all. I have a pretty flat back of the head and it's slightly pointy on top. I had a little trouble with the first couple of scans in that they turned out a little large on my head and even the last one wasn't a perfect suction but it definitely wasn't large on my head.
My IA has been incredible. And she's taken all 3 or 4 of my calls trying to assure me that we would figure it out. But I can't help but be devastated and feel like there's a good possibility that I may never have hair again (I can't do lace wigs... they itch me to death and make me miserable. I mean it is this beautiful hair that is so perfect and I was so excited about. And I'm just wondering if I am doomed forever and unable to wear a vacuum because they won't suction. Is my head really THAT oddly shaped?
There are thousands of people who wear these... I can't be the only one with a slightly flat and pointy head. If anyone else has had similar issues but were able to resolve them or if anyone found out they just weren't able to use these, I'd be really interested to hearing your experience as well.

Hi Courtney I get what an anxious time this is for you and how important it is that it works for u. When our daughter nicole got her first wig i remember it being an anxious time as her head shape is apparently quite deep at the back and i can also remember hers not fitting well and the many anxious worried calls we made to our lovely patient friend at freedom......anyway it all worked out fine and we discovered that nicole was putting it on too far forward which can be a common mistake to begin with. It might take a fair bit of trial and fiddling to get it in the correct place. I do hope it works for you and im sure u will sort all this out as they are such stunning hair pieces. I no they have made a huge difference in my daughters life. Take care and all the best.

Do you have a lot of hair? Perhaps why it doesn't suction?

Do the things I have talked about in my message (Shave hair off totally) etc. Be assured Debbi and Freedom will get to the bottom on this. :)

Thanks for your comments. Debbi and I figured it out!! For starters I wasn't clean shaving with a razor, thinking it wouldn't make "that" much of a difference. And on top of that I was starting it a little too far forward and it was just barely off. So after watching the video 10 times until 2 or 3am, I just got it! All of a sudden it fit in the EXACT spot. I didn't realize there was one perfect spot and I just wasn't finding it. When I finally did it fit great. I was so panicked thinking my flat head was going to ruin it for me. -
