Debbi and I are already trying to work this out but I am wondering... Does anyone else have this? I've had my Freedom for over 5 months and now that I've begun wearing it for more than a couple hours I'm getting headaches on my entire left side. Mainly in front of and behind my ear and the pain shoots down my neck. It's really awful. It feels like there's a ton of pressure on my left side and all along my occipital bone, where the wig edge lays. This is truly miserable. I'm not sure how much longer I can wear it. And the thing is... even my fit cap does it.

I already put in an order for my second one but now I'm thinking these might just not work for me.

Also just curious... do other people's sit above below or on occipital bone? Mine sits below.

Courtney-

I am so sorry  you are experiencing this.  I had headaches when I first started wearing mine, but I had it on slightly off to where I should have been wearing it.  This corrected my issue.  My freedom sits right at the nape of my neck.  I hope this gets resolved for you either way.

Would you mind taking a pic of where yours sits.... if you still have your fit cap? my left mastoid bone (behind my ear) protrudes more than the right and it seems the cap is pressing against it. I really don't think it's in the wrong spot. There's only one spot where there are no air bubbles. Unfortunately the moment I press down to "burp" out the air, I feel awful pressure from the base of my head down through my neck, on the left side. The left side of my fit cap at the nape also hangs down a bit more... making the situation worse.

I just posted in the other headache thread re my experience.  I have two freedoms:  one sits well above the occipital bone which is much more comfortable, however it also offers far less coverage than my other  one which sits on the top of that bone.  I often break the suction if I am feeling pressure in this area.  The pieces still stays on very well.  I would also suggest you perhaps talk to a doc  re this pain.  The wig may in fact be pushing on an already inflamed nerve given it is just on one side.
