I've just begun wearing my new freedom piece and loving it! However, I'm not quit sure how it should feel. Should it feel tight and without any air within or should it feel as though there is movement under the cap? Could anyone describe for me how it feels? Thank you, Annette from Mississippi

It should be pretty tight with no air bubbles.  Did you get a DVD on how to put it on, take off, shampoo, condition ect ect. ? It will take practice.  After several tries I got mine on correctly.  One thing that helped was to spray more water in it rather than just a couple of light sprays.  That way I was able to move it around better.  I go next Thursday, 12/29/16 and get it styled and the stylist said he was going to show me all about it.  Looking forward to that appointment.

THanks Pamela, yes I got and watched several times their DVD. Also went to the stylist myself last week and yes you will love the experience. It was my first salon experience in a year since I acquired alopecia last year and ended up universalis. Anyway, each day gets easier to wear and adjust. If I spray a lot of water I find it harder to grip even though it's easier to adjust. My rep said I would feel some motion under the cap when moving my head up and down or gum chewing so I felt a little better about that because that is what I was feeling. Thanks again for your response and have a Happy New Year! ANnette

Hi Annette -

It's difficult to describe other than to say you'll know it when you feel it.  I have been wearing a Freedom for about two years now.  It's not a TIGHT feeling, but more of a secure feeling.  I can shake my head pretty vigorously; I can walk through the windiest intersections in Chicago, I can take a shirt off over my head without feeling like my Freedom is moving.

However, when I chew food or raise my eyebrows (things that would make your SCALP move, sometimes it feels like my hairpiece is moving....it's really not - it's just securely adhered to my scalp and moves WITH it.

Hope that helps.

Lori

Yes, Lori you are describing what I am feeling and you reaffirmed what my rep explained to me. THank you for your expertise. Enjoying my new look! Annette

Hi again Annette,

May I ask who your rep is ad where do you live?
