Oookay so I ordered my last wig (from toplace) in mid January this year, and received it in early to mid May. So about 4 months.

Oh and my hair is from toplace.com. I'll check my emails to figure how long I had to wait last time to receive the order... I believe it was 6 to 8 weeks (not 8 months like I said to Chris - that would be ridiculous now I think about it. Felt like that long though! lol). You'll need to make a custom head template to send in, so buffer that time in too! (Just first time.)

And my eyebrows were done by this Chinese lady - very skilled lady with lots of experience. $350 for the "floating" eyebrows (that's the kind that is by hand instead of a machine), and definitely more natural. Normally $480. After a month you'll need one touch up for $20. After that you should be good for life!

Wow it was so much fun last night! Thank you Chris for hosting the gathering at your beeeeautiful home, and it was so great seeing all the new and familiar faces!!

Our next meetup will be in January, either Jana2's (in Kits?) or Dana's (in Maple Ridge).

Thanks Jana2 for letting Cat and I carpool! If we are going to Dana's we should definitely car pool! :)

I love that we gather at a different home each time! Like a mini Naaf meetup - a different city each time! haha.

I hope to have some Vancouver Alopecia Group mini cards by January's meeting, to place in derm's offices, hair piece shops, salons. I think we need a logo! It's not my specialty but I can try. Or, is anyone in the group a graphic designer? :)

Had a great time last night everyone was really kind look forward to the next get together so glad I came...:) sorry about the phone hope it wasn't too disruptive for the remainder of the evening silly me! For those of you that I told about Taylor she made it through surgery fine! She is recovering at home now....thanks again everyone I learned allot. Hope to see ya real soon!
