New to alopecia

Hi everyone. I was just diagnosed with alopecia areata. Part of me is relieved that I know what it is, but I hate how unpredictable it is and that I don't know what will happen in the long run. I was wondering if anyone could share about what they did when they first found out they had alopecia, how bad it was at first, etc...
