The support group is an ideal place to come and talk with others about living with alopecia areata. It is the place to gain knowledge from those who have had years of experience. With time comes the ability to deal and cope with your own hair loss or that of a loved one. We are very fortunate that so many are willing to bring to the meetings their wisdom and advice to share in a direct but compassionate manner
that reflects understanding and concern. The support group experience has its rewards for all who attend.

Our meeting Saturday was a great success everyone left with a smile. I would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Robert Strick for sharing his knowledge and humor with the group. We really enjoyed him and cannot wait for him to visit again. Also I want to thank Corwin Rouse the owner of Subway Sandwich Chino, CA for the sandwich donation and to the group thank you for your contribution as well.
We will not have a December meeting but will start up again in January 2012. Check back in January for the date and time. If you have any suggestions for the meetings please forward it to me I welcome your input.
