I'm recently diagnosed and having a lot of trouble finding somewhere to buy human hair wigs that aren't going to bankrupt me and isn't a scam site. It's starting to seem impossible. Help?

Pricing would have to be discussed once you have contacted them.  You will more than likely talk with me if this choice ends up being something you feel would help.

You can contact me on deanna@freedomwigs.com

Hope this info helps.

Hi livvy, I got my first human hair wig about 7 years ago now and I can honestly say it was not worth it! In nz you can get funding which is about $2330 and that's to last you 9 years! If you're buying a human hair wig that basically swallows up most or all of the funding. About 5 months ago my hair got so bad I had to go get a wig. I went to see the lady in wellington about used the last $470 I had of my funding to buy a synthetic wig. To stay with I was adamant I wanted human hair but after trying on a lot of wigs I decided they were too bulky and the colours weren't great. I would really recommend the synthetic ones... I love mine!

I recebtly brought another wig but this time online as I couldn't afford to spend another $500 from nz. First time round I brought from a site called prowigsau and the experience was awful! The style, colour and the way it fitted was really unacceptable... I ended up in a big argument with them I didn't get all my money back. Second time round I purchased from a site recommended to me called directwigs.Co.Uk. I emailed them a picture of the synthetic wig I tried on over here that I loved and they matched the colour and style. I ended up paying $235 nzd as opposed to $500 and the wig is exactly the same! There's no difference! Direct wigs is based in the UK and if the wig isn't right you can return it did a full refund or exchange. The colour is so realistic and people who don't know is a wig ask me where I get my hair done! My friends who don't know about my hair who I have told in person so a double take and don't believe me!

I looked into the freedom wigs but I believe they have a silicone based and you have to have absolutely no hair for then to suction into your head. They're also extremely expensive.

Let me know if you have any more questions!

Soph :)

Try voguewigs.com They often have free international shipping so its a great site to use

Thanks everyone. There's so much to think about, I'll have to do some research into all the different kinds of wigs.
