I was diagnosed with androgenic alopecia today. I have been losing my hair for 5 years, although within the last year it has become very noticable. I finally found a doctor who did more than just tell me to buy his "magic hair regrowth pills." I had tons of blood work done and a scalp biopsy. I was finally diagnosed. My doctor wants me to start taking Aldactone. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this, and if you could share a little about it. Side effects, how long it took to start working, or if it even worked for you. I am really hoping this works. I have been through so much else with iron pills, copper pills, anti-depressents, and nothing has worked. Thank you so much!!
if you decided to take the Aldactome will you let me know, I have been taking spironolactone for nearly the same time my hair started falling out and now I am curious if this isn't the reason.
