We talked about dealing with people glances before but in this group as well as the "Men who don't mind" group, I wanted to try and take it a bit deeper.

I find when it comes to staring we can talk about what to "do" about it, and what the other person may be thinking or not thinking, doing or not doing.

But the real question is, why is it so hard for us to accept the stares? What are we thinking? What feelings are we trying to avoid that the staring surfaces in us?

I don't know. Sometime I go out in public wearing a banana sometimes, and some people don't notice/care, but there are a few who stare or even say "that's weird". I just ignore them, which isn't easy. Better said then done.
