I'm from NL, living in Pouch Cove right now, originally from the Burin Pennisula, I have lived in Mount Pearl for 22 yrs ,2 yrs in NS and now am back in NL again.I have been recently diagnosed with alopecia areata and have been looking for some Newfoundlanders with it.Where are you located?Love to hear from you.Hope to talk to you soon.

Wow how on earth did I miss this one???? Although I've never lived in NL my parents are from there. I was put up for adoption and later found my bio. mom in St. John's as well as a whole bunch of others in Stephenville and area. No one on my mom's side has alopecia however I don't know about my dad's. All that I know about him is that he was going to the university in 76 and he knows nothing of my existence. I do wonder quite often though if I'm one of the alopecians that is affected genetically and would love to find my dad to find out. Maybe I'm even related to you LOL.
