I also had eyeliner tattooed and it faded to nothing in just a couple of years. Never will I do that again -- so painful, expensive and disappears! I tried gel eyeliner and it also migrates down under my eyes. I look like a football player!

I've had eyeliner tattooed but as it is faded to a greyish blue colour, I have to add pencil. Even before alopecia I had trouble keeping eyeliner in place so I'd love to find one that does the job. Gel eyeliner seems to be okay, but I don't use it at the waterline. Getting crinkled eyes now so it's harder and harder to find one that stays put and doesn't look too stark for a 60+ woman.

Shoot, I tried that and yes it's nice and dark, but it quickly showed up under my eyes. I use it on the waterline and not many eyeliners can stand up to that.

I like L'Oreal Infallible Silkissime eyeliner....The black is the blackest I have ever seen or tried, really.  But I love the purple, it is a true purple and their is a turquoise I love.  I like pencils better than liquid.  I have no control over liquid.  I have tried so many things, and I don't think expensive liners are any better.  Just my opinion. Give it a go, you can always just return it !!!

Can anyone recommend eyeliner that doesn't end up under your eyes? With no eyelashes it's a problem!

Hi everyone, I haven't been on AW for quite some time, but just joined this group as I was wondering if I was the only one who went from wearing little to no makeup pre alopecia, to now not wanting to leave the house without it on? I am having fun with makeup these days but just wish I'd discovered it sooner in my pre wrinkled days lol

Someone here commented about flaking sealant. I used to have that problem, but now I'm in my third year of refills with BGDL Brow Sealer . For me it's still the best out there. You won't find better customer service and they give proceeds to the Bald Girls Do Lunch alopecia nonprofit.

Everything I need is at my local farmers market.I find that a diet of fruits and vegetables makes me feel and look great.
Each morning I face my mirror with a beautiful canvas.I create beautiful eyes and brows.
Sometimes eyebrows can be a challenge, but with patience and practice,it comes together.
