Has anyone lost their eyelashes?

Hi everyone! I've been losing hair for nearly five years now and was officially diagnosed a year and a half ago. I lost my eyebrows and had them tatooed on a year ago and I wear a bonded semi-permanent topper. Now my eyelashes are coming out. Has anyone else also lost eyelashes? Has anyone had artificial eyelashes put on? Pros? Cons? (I wore fake ones for my 10th wedding anniversary dinner date. They looked fabulous but what a pain to put on! haha)

I had eyelash loss.  To make a long long story (journey with eyelash loss) short, I ended up getting chronic styes.  I stupidly allowed an eye dr practice to try and treat them. The only thing that worked was a steroid drop.  Then 1 Dr  tried to pop it and made it worse!  So my eyelashes were almost down to nothing and the styes were like a monster on my eye!!!

finally I went to an eye specialist who gave me a series of drops and a special cleanser for CRONIC blepheritis!  He was an arrogant jerk BUT a phenomenal Dr!  I got restassi drops , anti biotic drips and the clincher that has helped since then (almost 2 yrs ago)  AVENOVA!  Avenova is an eyelash eye wash. I spray a cotton pad and clean my eyelashes every morning and night!  For months at 1st it was disgusting because I had to wash away the mites!  That’s why you lose eyelashes.  Mites!  That’s basically what Blepheratis is. My eyelashes grew back.

Im pretty sure ts related to FFA.  

The antibiotic drops and restassi are important to use at 1st for a few months.  But the Avenova is the clincher to keep them good.  If I miss one day, only one day, they get the mites  again and you can’t see them without the magnifying mirror and the Avenova.  I tried a cheaper brand I got on amazon but that stuff doesn’t work.

you can go the extra mile and get the Avenova company to discount the medication if your insurance company won’t pay. That’s what I had to do. I pay $35 for the smaller bottle. It lasts about 3 weeks. A bit more.  

Good luck.  My eye lashes are back so I’m happy!  Took a long time, but I was diligent and at least they came back! I wish I could say the same for my head hair!
