Hi Azi,
Although I am not a child, I too have AA and would be happy to talk with you and your son. I am also in the Vancouver area, but only know a couple of adults with the condition. Let me know. :)

Hi Chris,
thanks for the reply. sure it will be nice if we can see each other and my son see he is not the only one without hair in the world.
at the same time we don't want to talk about it a lot cause we don't want him think it's important and bothering us.

My son and I are in Kelowna, and we both have a AU, my son is 7 and has had Alopecia since he was 6. If we can help, let me know.

Hi i am from kelowna as well....my 22 month old daughter has alopecia as well.The website above is for childrens alopecia project,when you register the have a list of children living with alopecia and where they are located to help you connect your child with others:)

Dear Azi
Hello and my name is Cynthia. My daughter has AA and her name is Taylor-Jean. She is 10 yrs old. We moved from Surrey to Kamloops about 8 years ago. We now live in a small town just outside of kamloops and have desparately been searching others (kids) that have AA so Taylor-Jean too can see that she is not alone. She has NEVER seen another child with AA and it is so important for these children to not feel alone. I Invite anyone in the same position (especially B.C. ) to join along and maybe we can create a meeting/special day for our children and begin our support locally for them???? Love to hear from you,
