Hi, I'm 36 and have had AA since I was a few months old. Growing up with AA was very hard and I have found it harder as I get older.

Hello everyone! I'm new here :) I was officially diagnosed with AA when I have 3 years old, and I lost it all at 6 years old.

Best wishes from Poland ;)

It is nice to see everyone's bald heads! I always wear my wig when I go out, but at home I'm free! I did, however, post some baldy pics on my page. I was so inspired by all the other beautiful bald heads that I said "why not?!". It had been years since I let anyone take a pic of my bald head. Little by little I'm starting to embrase my baldness. I just want to say thank you all for your inspiring words and pictures! :-) Sarah

Looking at the members in this group is really cool - most of us aren't wearing hair in our pictures!!! I love seeing everyone's heads, it makes me so happy to see that we're happy as we are. Yay for us!!!! :D

I haven't seen this group before! Is it new? Great idea! Well, I was officially diagnosed w/ Alopecia at 10 months old, and I lost it all at 5 years old. I have had Alopecia for 30 years but I have been tolly bald for 26.

Hey guys..Ive gad AA for 38 years...Seems like just yesterday..You name it,ive been through it,and of course, what doesnt kill you, makes you stronger..Id like to think Im a bit stronger..LOL..I think,if I could impart just one thing to someone new,or old,is that dont forget..It wasnt your choice to have AA,AU,AT etc..So its not your fault,so theres no need to hide or be embarressed, like you did something wrong..Should we stop living because of something we didnt even choose..When I finally got that into my thick head, life became way more livable..I wasnt ashamed for people to see me,even though that really doesnt ever get""EASY""..But it does get tolerable...Please everyone who reads this..Stand tall and proud,as this isnt your fault, nor did you choose it,and for that reason, theres no reason to feel anything but proud, for facing each day,and the courage it takes, makes us one strong bunch of people, with a lot of character, and love for our fellow man..
...keep the faith..give the love..share the happiness..Bob
