I am in year one of AA.  I am female 51 years old.  Bald spots started last April.  Received steroid injections and used Fluocinonide twice per day.  My hair grew back.

March 2017 bald spots again twice as bad as last year.  Doing the same treatment as last time.

I know there is nothing to attribute to this but it happened the same time each year.  The only other consistency that I can think of is both times before it happened my hair stylist used an Aveada Gloss on my color.  I did not have any extra stress at that time.

I am now documenting every day what I eat, put on my skin etc.  Today after the shower there was twice as much hair loss as yesterday.  Ugggggggg

I can't google anymore.  I did get sucked in already and bought shampoos and some berries that are supposed to help...I know they won't cure but you know the desperation.

Any info on shampoos that help?  Any info on foods that help? Tips on anything?

My Dr. said Tofacitinib will be coming on the market for AA this year and that it does wonders but when you quit taking it your hair falls out.  Any info on this?

I am looking for anyone to converse with or any tips as this is newer to me and I feel for each and every one of you.

Sorry Ranting.  Thanks for reading.
