Hi everyone,

I have the problem that after a few months the hair of my wigs looks like straw and there is no natural fall of the hair. I tried a lot of different shampoos, conditioning masks, silikon sprays. If I wear the hair loose, it starts to frizz and tangle immediately. I bought all wigs from specialist dealers and the last one was one from the brand "Belle Madame".  I can't buy every half a year a new one-so I'd like to know if everyone has the same problem or knows a solution. Does anyone ever tried OLAPLEX N3? I thought maybe this could help to smoothen the wig?

My hairdresser told me I could actually rinse my wig in Downey to get it to feel softer and hang better. I have not tried it yet, but am going to do so as my one wig feels straw-like. Cannot hurt to try.

What is downey? I'm not a native speaker therefore I don't know this word. Is it fabric softener? I heard you can use this for synthetic wigs, but I have a human hair wig.

Downy, yes, is fabric softner.  For a HH wig, try argan oil

Downey will not help a dry wig, trust me.  Synthetic, no doubt?
