How did u get to know about this doctor/treatment option? has anybody u know with alopecia had success with this treatment? Do let us know how the treatment works out. Our sincere support and wishes are with you.

My doctors were really hesitant as well, but I told them to do it anyway just to please me. We found out that my son is allergic to eggs. It could be not related to alopecia, but nobody really knows either for sure!

I read this on wikipedia: Alopecia forces hair follicles to go in the Telogen phase, and it says eyebrows telogen phase is around 9 months.

Hair growth cycle times
Scalp: The time these phases last varies from person to person. Different hair colour and follicle shape affects the timings of these phases. anagen phase, 2–3 years (occasionally much longer)
catagen phase, 2–3 weeks
telogen phase, around 3 months

Eyebrows etc.: anagen phase, 4–7 months
catagen phase, 3–4 weeks
telogen phase, about 9 months

I feel your pain. My son is 17months old and over the last 6 months he has lost 98% of the hair on his head. he has some white peach fuzz all over his head but he's also losing thelast few patches of dark hair he had left. We have seen a nautropath and did allergy testing - no allergies. We saw a dermatologist who recommended rogaine but we didn't want to use that.

I'm now trying some herbal oils on his eyebrows since I think they are starting to thin.

I'm going to give in and pay the $500 to try the Shmuel Gonen treatment now. I've seen some good results from other people on this site as well as from talking to dr Gonen and I figure we have nothing to lose. I just wish someone would find some answers for us.

I watch this guy on youtube video few months ago, he has amazing result. He can also help people with AU an AT. You should try it for sure!

Hi Fizza!

I've been trying to find out wheter or not to take the Shmuel Gonen treatment. I watched some of the success stories out there, and I feel like giving it a shot. Has it helped your son, if you don't mind me asking?

Hi Fizza, My son is 16 months old and has lost most of his hair because of Alopecia. Can you please let me know how did it work out for you with Dr. Shmuel Gonen. I am hoping it worked well for your son, and hoping that I can use it to help my son with it.
