Weave on regrowth

Hi All, So I have regrowth, yay! Its not as much as my original hair, but it's there...its thin and there still some patchy spots, but it is about 3-4 inches long, am thinking to get a weave sewn in or however they do it...anyone done this? Anyone know if it will make my hair fall back out?
