Yes. I've only just started on my 2nd box of it but all I know is something is helping. You take 2 tabs a day and a box of the extra strength lasts for 1 month. It is not cheap. I bought the 1st box at Walgreens and it set me back 50.00. Then I ordered 2 more boxes from Walmart online and it was 39. something with free shipping since my order was over 50.00 hence me ordering 2 months worth in one shipment. I am seeing a lot less shedding when I wash my hair and just today somebody at work asked me if my hair was "getting better." I said " It must be because I thought so but was afraid it was just my imagination." My top had been fairly see thru but has improved. I must also add that I had been wearing wigs for almost 3 years and I think just letting my hair "rest" seems to have helped it even before I started the viviscal. I had just been letting it grow and infrequently chopping a few inches off the bottom since I wasn't going out in public with my real hair I didn't want to waste money at the hair dressers. Finally I was tired of the wigs and went and got my hair cut in a way that I could wear it straight and no curling iron required. I do blow dry but try not to do it every day. Also try not wash every day but I often have to because I exercise my hair is so fine and limp and straight that its hard to go to work without a wash. It's hard not to blow dry too because that makes it look fuller but I really try not to do that all the time. I'm really babying this hair now and I was pretty hard on it prior to it falling out and I don't want to have to go to the wigs because of the uncomfortableness, but they did look great every day. I take 1 viviscal in the morn and 1 at bed. My derm also just started me on sprironolactone 50mgs a day but he wants to increase the dose gradually to a theraputic 100mg -200mg. I was using the Viviscal before I started on the spironolactone. I will update this again after my 3rd month. I really feel that resting my hair using wigs and the Viviscal have made the difference. I didn't wash as often when I wore the wigs and I never ever bothered with the blow dryer and that did help a lot. Hope this has been helpful to someone. Sorry for rambling on.
