I have noticed I small amount of hair ( peachfuzz on my face, fingers, scalp, arms, and lashes ) Does this mean that all of my hair may come back ? Has anyone ever gotten all hair back after AU ? I am very happy to see this but am afraid I might be over excited about it after all most people say it will just fall back out. thanks for reading.

thank you for your possitive outlook Karen !! The fuzz on my head is growing and is changing color I now have at least four BLACK patches hat I can see so I am still hopefull that it will grow back its been 2 years since this started so I am so excited about it !!

I was AU for two years then last march (after taking travel probiotics for a trip abroad) my hair started to grow back but very fine and fuzzy.  Since then it got thicker and grew longer where I ended up getting a small trim and dyed it.  Sadly it started to fall out slightly since October.  One thing I did do was focus on gut health.  I started taking probiotics and fermented foods (apparently very good to optimal healthy gut). Since then I have notice regrowth already on the patches that fell out only a few months ago!

I really don't think medicine can help with autoimmune, it may help relieve and bandaid a condition but it doesn't get to the root of it...........a healthy gut can in my opinion.

A healthy gut is very important but I am not so sure that it is the cure for alopecia. I was on probiotics and yogurt for a quite a while and never saw any improvement.
