Aclaris is developing and testing an oral and topical version called ATI-50002. The oral version is currently in phase 1 testing (12 patient test) and the topical is in pre-clinical testing (I believe this means they have "healthy" people using it to see if there are any adverse affects

Hey Zach, anything to report (good or bad)?

Salt score increased. Most of my head is covered with peach fuzz and there are some healthier strands with color.  The most noticeable difference has been that in the past when I grew it out there were always bald spots. This time there aren’t any totally bald spots. One month left.

it seems that aclaris has rebranded the drugs as ATI-502 and ATI-501

As of July 9 2018 FDA has granted fast track status for ATI-502 (I'm not sure why not the oral version ATI-501)

some recent interim data has been positive

a particularly interesting excerpt

Although a confirmed timeline for the potential release of these treatments has not been revealed as yet, it is estimated that the first JAK inhibitor treatments for alopecia may be available for doctors to prescribe as early as 2020.

So combined with CTP-543 from Concert Pharma these are two very promising treatments that have both been granted fast track status from FDA. very exciting!

Hello Zach,

Any updates on this? I just scheduled an appointment for next Thursday to see if I Qualify for the ati-50002 trial. Ive been on xeljanz so I will need to wait a month before I start so the xeljanz can washout.
