I have had Alopecia Totalis for 30+ years. I have lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and now the Washington DC area. I have bought synthetic wigs and human hair wigs. I love the Follea wig as it looks natural and is about as comfortable as any wig can be.

Unfortunately, I CANNOT find a good stylist. I have tried people recommended by the wig manufacturer, or other stylists who claim to be experienced styling wigs. I have been so disappointed, and even had two wigs essentially ruined, by the stylists that I am afraid to have my new Follea styled.

If anyone has had a GOOD experience with a wig stylist in the DC, VA, MD area, please let me know.

I would appreciate it so much.

Hello, Though I do not know anyone in that area I suggest you contact the local cancer society and see if they have any suggestions as far as salon that might have stylists that are trained and comfortable cutting wigs. When my daughter was in college in Arizona this is how I found a stylist for her. Just a thought.
