Hi Priya.. I am also from delhi and victim of AU... I am in touch with some american institue on this.. and got some reply but I am still not confident as most of Indiam doctor told me that they are bogus..

I have mailed them some further queries .. and waiting for the response

I really don't get the theory behind this because you have the bad antibodies or whatever it is in your stem cells don't you? How would transplanting the same stem cells help? I would think they would have to do it from a matching donor which would cause all sorts of problems. I think if this worked it would be available in more than one place in the world. I am not trying to be negative and still hoping for a cure.

I do not think there are any "experts" in this yet. Your person may be just guessing. I would wait a lot more years on this one...research needs proof and time to see side effects. www.naaf.org is up on the latest trials.
