Dear Rajat Bansal,
We only have one treatment center on our recommended list that treats alopecia with stem cells. Please see the letter below:
Here is the personalized recommendation we promised you.
The Repair Stem Cell Institute’s recommendation is an important consideration because of the approximately 500 stem cell treatment centers in the world, we have selected, documented, and now recommend only 12 centers. The Institute’s exclusive selection process and Standards are based on years of research and experience, and thousands of individuals look to the Institute’s advice to help in their stem cell treatment decisions.
Your personalized recommendation is based on many factors. These include your patient profile, the treating center’s results and experience with your specific condition, the Institute’s proprietary research, convenience of travel from your location to the treatment center, and the cost/value of treatment.
We’re here to help you through the entire process, to answer your questions, and to ensure you get Priority Service with the treating center. There is no fee or obligation for our service, so you have nothing to lose by requesting our assistance.

While you have taken an important first step, for those ready to investigate treatment now, there is an important Questionnaire below. This is the next step that we highly recommend for those seeking treatment.
Questionnaire - ONLY for those ready to investigate treatment in the next five months. (There is no cost or obligation for our service).
Do NOT attach medical records to your response. The treatment center will advise you of the medical information they need to further evaluate your candidacy for treatment, and answer any questions you may have regarding their center and treatment results for your condition.
Remember, we’re here to help you through the entire process, and to be sure you receive Priority Service from the treating center.
Now, click on REPLY, answer all of the below questions, and hit SEND.
______YES, I’m ready to investigate stem cell treatment further to evaluate how stem cells can improve my life. Here’s my completed questionnaire.
1. What can and can’t the patient do (how does the condition affect daily activity)?
2. I acknowledge that I/we can afford the treatment and other necessary costs: YES/NO? _______
3. Please send me tips on raising funds (only for those patients who do not have the funds for treatment). YES/NO? ________
4. If accepted, when would you wish treatment? About ____/_____ (Month/Year)
I look forward to your reply.
Sincerely,

Permalink Reply by Karen Smith on March 18, 2012 at 1:22pm I really don't get the theory behind this because you have the bad antibodies or whatever it is in your stem cells don't you? How would transplanting the same stem cells help? I would think they would have to do it from a matching donor which would cause all sorts of problems. I think if this worked it would be available in more than one place in the world. I am not trying to be negative and still hoping for a cure.
Permalink Reply by Tallgirl on March 18, 2012 at 3:06pm I do not think there are any "experts" in this yet. Your person may be just guessing. I would wait a lot more years on this one...research needs proof and time to see side effects. www.naaf.org is up on the latest trials.
