So watching my hair fall out everyday is getting more and more depressing. My head itches like CRAZY and my crown is pretty much bald. Im about 90% sure Im ready to just shave it so I dont have to watch it fall out. But instead of just shaving it off, I was thinking maybe I can raise money for a charity? Has anyone done this? I was thinking I could even donate the money to alopecia research, but I just dont know how I would go about doing that. Does anyone have any ideas? THANKS!!

you will feel so amazing when you shave the remaining hair...trust me! You'll prob. wonder why you didn't do it sooner. :)
great idea to raise money for an org. Good luck!
my hair is real short and real thin from all my bald spots, so its not really much to donate for a wig. I was thinking more along the lines of getting people to donate the money for me to do it, and then taking it all and donating it to alopecia research. Like how people shave their heads for cancer research.
I think people pay more when it is a favorite coach, a principal, or someone they want to embarrass in a joking, public way. Or when a GROUP of people decide to get shaved with the payers as "audience." One pretty female doing it? I am not sure much money could be raised, other than by immediate friends, especially if it isn't a major production or change. Why not just set up a day for friends to accompany you for the shave, then go out for a make-over or shopping spree, or luncheon (with cocktails?) afterwards? Be sure to bring cameras!
Thats what one of my friends said. He said he wouldnt mind watching though, lol. I think I just need to go out and buy myself some nice clippers, and just do it with my family and close friends. Thanks for your input I really appreciate it!!
