Hello everyone,

My name is Hamza and I'm celebrating my Alopecia Areatas second anniversary :D . During the last two years it changed my vision of life, my way of thinking... In general it changed my life.

When my Alopecia first appeared I had 15 years and it appeared during an important phase of life, I started wearing a hat in order to hide it but this solution was only temporary and it only lasted five or six months. the 28 of July 2013 was the day in which I made one of the biggest decisions of my life: I shaved 100% of my heads hair, in the first time it was a very hard thing to do because I never thought I would shave all my hair but then was the second, the third... and today I'm very proud of myself because I made a very good decision, a decision that helped me a lot to face the world.

I know that I'm not in a position to give tips but I'm sharing my own experience. Alopecia is a very hard thing to deal with, my first days and even today I ask myself this question: Why me? and I keep thinking about what is going on with me but in the end I thank god for this grace, you may laugh but it is a grace because I didn't know how important hair is and how important showing respect and understanding the sufferings of other people. Alopecia gave me and still gives me the opportunity to discover new life values and I hope it's giving you the same thing.

The words are over but hope will never be the same, be hopeful and I promise that one day you will have something good to live for.

ps: I discovered that being bald isn't a bad thing after all ;) :D .

Best wishes to you all.
