6 months ago, I got 2 big spots one being about a quarter on my left beard and the other being about two quarters on my neck. At the time, I had no idea what alopecia even was. About 2 months ago, I thought I saw another small spot and began doing research. When I saw the pictures, I knew what I had. In the past month, its spread like crazy with a ton of very small circles all over my beard. I'm not noticed the same spots in my sideburns, around my ear, and below the top of my head. I still haven't seen any difference in my actual hair (which I pray to God doesn't happen.) Can you guys look at the pictures and tell me what you think? I'm going to the dermatologist next week to get the correct diagnosis and hopefully treatment. Has anyone gone through a similar process like I have in regards to what you see in the pictures? Do you think I'll lose my hair?
