I have similar problem too almost every morning that is cold and wet (Typical morning sinus + environmental allergens). Normally it goes off after the heat of the day picks up... Just take care of your health plenty of rest and balanced diet... as winter is setting in...and the flu season has already begun...well this year...we have a new strain...the Influenza (Swine Flu) H1N1, we better look after ourselves...

Hi Moisuc.
This is happening for the first time to me this autumn and... I still have nasal hair.
However, I have a girlfriend who has this every autumn/winter and she doesn't have alopecia of any kind.
Solutions? Keep the kleenex and hand sanitizer with you at all times. :D

I dont have nose hair either, never noticed the dripping.. hehe i will pay attention to it, have alopecia for such a long time, so guess i took it as normal.
I always am sensitive to dust etc. After a day work, when i blow my nose, i will spair everyone the details.
But always thinking, hmmz, if this is coming out, than means im breathing in lots of crap.

so maybe the nose dripping isnt that bad, not convient, but maybe the bad stuff comes out more easy.

dont know, just thinking out loud

Hi Moisuc,

I too have had this problem since I developed AU, I used to have lots of hairs in my nose and it was never such a problem. My nose used to get runny, especially in cooler weather, but I seemed to have more warning, I could feel it coming. But now it seems that in cooler weather, and often when I'm out cycling, it runs very quickly and freely. So now I often don't notice it until it's too late, either trickling down onto my upper lip, or it's hanging down like a glittering string from my nose. Not very sophisticated!

I haven't found a solution to it, apart from always trying to have a tissue to hand....

If you find a way of stopping this stream, let me know!
